Admission Procedure
The B.Pharm course lasts four years (eight semesters), while lateral entry students complete it in three years (six semesters). Each semester introduces new aspects of medicines and healthcare, blending theory with practical learning. Throughout these four or three years, students engage in laboratory work, research projects, and internships to gain direct experience. They also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for pharmaceutical practice and healthcare innovation.
In order to get admission in the course, candidates must meet the entry criteria for B.Pharmacy mentioned below
First Year
Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/ Central government authorities with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (PA.C.B/ P.C.M.B) as optional subjects individually with required percentage of marks (50% overall Grade point average).
Qualifying at the entrance examination (EAPCET) conducted by the state council of Higher Education.
Second Year (Lateral Admission)
A pass in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Qualifying at the Entrance examination (E-CET) conducted by the State Council of Higher Education
At KLR Pharmacy College, admissions follow the Telangana state norms with 70% of seats allocated under the Convener Quota (filled through TS EAMCET/POLYCET) and 30% under Management/NRI Quota (direct college admissions), as per AICTE guidelines.".
